Section 36A(2) in The Gauhati University Act, 1947
(2)The University shall regulate foe matter regarding implementation and payment of pension and family pension to their employees by such Authority as may be determined by the University:Provided that granting and eligibility of pension shall be guided by foe Assam Services (Pension) Rules, 1969.
