Section 2(19) in The Anna University of Technology, Tirunelveli Act, 2007
(19)"teachers" mean such [Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors] [Substituted for 'Lecturers, Readers, Assistant Professors' by Act No. 25 of 2010, dated 11.06.2010.], Directors and other persons giving instruction in University departments, colleges or laboratories, in affiliated or approved colleges or in hostels and librarians an other like persons as may be declared by the statute to be teachers;
