Section 244(b) in Bihar Board's Miscellaneous Rules, 1958
(b)With the approval of the Board of Revenue the Commissioner may sanction the observance of local holidays in any district in excess of the prescribed limit of seven days in the year provided that a corresponding number of gazetted holidays be given up as a set-off against the excess in the number of local holidays.
