Section 16(1) in The Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Stock Exchanges and Clearing Corporations) Regulations, 2012
(1)Save as otherwise provided in these regulations, the shareholding or voting rights of any person in a recognised stock exchange or a recognised clearing corporation shall not exceed the limits specified in this Chapter at any point of time.
