Section 14(2) in Kerala Prevention of Eviction Act, 1966
(2)The expiry of the Kerala Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Prevention of Eviction Ordinance, 1966, shall not-(a)affect any tight, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under the said Ordinance,(b)affect any penalty or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed under the said Ordinance,(c)affect any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty or punishment, and any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, continued or enforced, and any such penalty or punishment may be imposed as if this Act had commenced on the 5th day of July, 1966.
