(1)This Act may be called the Alagappa University Act, 1985.(2)This section and sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63 and 66 shall come into force at once and the rest of this Act shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification, appoint.
