Section 7(1) in The Haryana Conservation of Firewood Supplies (Restrictions on Transport) Order, 1973
(1)For the more effective enforcement of the provisions of this order the Director, or the District Magistrate or any officer authorised by him in this behalf may ;(i)enter any premises ;(ii)ask of any person all necessary question ;(iii)search and, as far may be necessary for that purpose, detain any person or vehicle or animal ; and(iv)seize any firewood including its containers such as bags, etc. found in the possession of such person or in such vehicles or on such animals in respect of which he has reason to believe that contravention of any of the provisions of this order has been, is being, or is about to be committed.
