Section 1 in The Railway Protection Force Rules, 1987
1. Short title and commencement.
- 1.1 These rules may be called Railway Protection Force Rules, 1987.1.2They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.1.3These rules shall apply to all persons who are subject to the Act:Provide that the provisions of rules 83 to 86 shall not apply to superior officers and other enrolled members of the Force appointed on deputation and officers appointed on contract who shall continue to be governed by their own rules and the terms of deputation or, as the case may be, by the conditions of their contract.
