Section 30(3)(b) in The Maharashtra Land Revenue (Disposal of Government Lands) Rules, 1971

(b)The occupant shall be allotted a plot in the new site equal in area of the plot which he surrenders to the State Government, provided that where the plot surrendered is less than the minimum standard area fixed under sub-rule (2) he shall be allotted a plot of the minimum standard area.
