Section 92 in Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
92. Mobile asphalt layers and finishers.
- The employer shall ensure on a construction site of a building or other construction work that: -(a)a mixture elevator is within a wooden or sheet metal enclosure with a window for observation, lubrication and maintenance;(b)bitumen scoops have adequate covers.(c)when asphalt plants are working on a public road, adequate traffic control is established on such road and the building workers working with such plant are provided with reflecting jackets;(d)a sufficient number of fire extinguishers are kept in readiness on such workplace where fire hazards may exist;(e)the materials are loaded on the elevator after the drying drain has warmed up of such elevator;(f)no open light is used for ascertaining the level of asphalt;(g)inspection opening is not opened till there is a pressure in the boiler which may cause injury to a building worker.
