53.
Power to annul the orders of the University:- The Government may, by order published in the officialGazette, annul any order, notification, resolution or any proceedings of the University which, in its opinion, is not inconformity with the provisions of this Act, or the Statutes, Regulations, or Ordinances or is otherwise inconsistentwith the policy of the Government:Provided that before making any such order, the Government shall afford an opportunity to the Universityto be heard against any such proposed action.
