Section 18(2) in The Orissa Forest Shooting Rules, 1973
(2)A permit-holder intending to sit on a 'Machan' for hunting a leopard during the hours of night, i.e. one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise shall inform the local Range Officer of his intention to do so.
