(2)The Allopathy System of Medicine shall be further classified into mutually exclusive sub-groups: (i) General;(ii) Specialty e.g. Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics etc.; (iii) Super-specialty e.g. Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery etc.; (iv) Dental; or (v) Any such other allopathy sub-group as may be notified.Explanation. - The term 'specialty' and 'superspecialty' shall have the same meaning as defined by the medical Council of India.
