Section 16(8) in Telangana Municipal Corporations Act, 1994
(8)the electoral roll prepared for the Municipality under the [Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965 (Act VI of 1965)] [Adapted in G.O.Ms.No.142, Municipal Administration & Urban Development (A2) Department, dated 29.10.2015.] and in force at the constitution of the Corporation shall he deemed to be the electoral roll for the Corporation until a new electoral roll is prepared and published; and the part of the said electoral roll relating to each ward of the Municipality shall be deemed to be the list of the electoral roll for the corresponding division of the Corporation.
