Section 42(2) in The Gujarat Maritime Board Act, 1981
(2)If the Board to whom a direction is given under sub-section (1) fails or neglects to comply with such direction within the specified period, the State Government may cancel any of such scales or make such modifications therein as it may think fit:Provided that before so cancelling or modifying any scale the State Government shall consider any objection or suggestion which may be made by the Board during the specified period.
