(2)(a)The services so created shall include a full fledged Forensic Science Laboratory at the State-level, and if possible, at a Police Range and a Mobile Forensic Science Unit for every district, with appropriate equipment and scientific manpower, in keeping with the guidelines laid down by the Directorate of Forensic Science or the Bureau of Police Research and Development of the Government of India.(b)The State Government shall take all measures to encourage and promote the use of science and technology in all aspects of policing.
