Section 3 in The Passport (Entry Into India) Amendment Act, 2000
3. Insertion of new section 3A.-
After section 3 of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-" 3A. Punishment for subsequent offences.- Whoever having been convicted of an offence under any rule or order made under this Act is again convicted of an offence under this Act shall be punishable with double the penalty provided for the later offence.".
