Section 27(c) in Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955
(c)in any other case, where the subject-matter of the suit has a market value or not, fee shall be computed on the amount at which the relief sought is valued in the plaint or on [rupees one thousand ] [Substituted for the words 'rupees four hundred' by the Tamil Nadu Court-fees and Suits Valuation (Amendment) Act, 2003 (Tamil Nadu Act 17 of 2003) with effect from 15th June 2003], whichever is higher;
