Section 274(1) in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
(1)The Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer may, either on his own or through any other agency, provide and maintain in the municipal area such number of municipal markets, slaughterhouses or stockyards, as he thinks fit, together with stall, shops, sheds, pans and other buildings and conveniences for the use of persons carrying on trade or business and may provide and maintain in any such markets, buildings or other places, machines, weights, scales and measures for the weighment or measurement of goods sold thereon.
