168. Power of Government to prevent extravagance in establishment.
- If in the opinion of the Government, the number of employees maintained by a Board or whom a Board proposes to maintain, or the remuneration assigned by the Board to such employees or to any other person is excessive, the said Board shall, on being required to do so by the Government, reduce their number or remuneration.
