Section 135(136)(b) in The Railway Protection Force Rules, 1987

(b)with effect from the date of his conviction, if in the event of a conviction foran offence he is sentenced to a term of imprisonment exceeding forty-eighthours and is not dismissed or removed or compulsory retired from serviceunder rule 162 consequent to such conviction.
