Section 16(3) in The Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014
(3)Unless the membership of the Executive Council is terminated under sub-section (1) or ceased under sub-section (2), the members of the Executive Council shall cease to be members on the expiry of three years from the date on which they become members of the Executive Council but, shall be eligible for re-nomination or re-appointment, as the case may be :Provided that, the term of the first Executive Council shall be five years.
