- (i) The promotion of members of the service shall be inform one grade to another grade and not form one post to another post, except in cases of promotions to Selection Grade/Super time Scale, which may be in same grade.(ii)The promotion of the officers under the various Grades in the Service shall be as per the criteria laid down in Schedule-E.
