Section 11(1) in Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017
(1)A Government employee drawing pay in the level 24 and above shall on completion of every term of 10 years of service in a particular level without promotion shall be granted one additional increment as stagnation increment on the date of completion of such term.Provided that periods that such Government employee has worked in posts in the corresponding grade in the existing pay structure or corresponding pay scale prior to introduction of existing pay structure without promotion shall be counted while arriving at the term of service in the particular level.
