4. [ Approval of Medical Examiner. [Substituted by Notification No. G.S.R. 128 (E), dated 29.1.2016 (w.e.f. 19.1.2000).]
- An official of the Directorate General of Shipping duly authorised by the Director General shall approve such numbers of Medical Examiners at such ports or places, as deemed necessary for the purpose of sub-section (2) of section 98 of the Act.
