FACTS:
2. Appellant sought information regarding details of candidates who have been called for interview for post of Reader, Associate Professor, Lecturer in deptt of Telugu vide advertisement dated 1.1.2010. There was no response. The appellant thereafter, approached this Commission.
DECISION:
3. The Commission takes serious note of not appointing PIO for Human Resource Development department for the last two years. The PIO of personnel department is asked to act as incharge. It is submitted that the entire information was made ready but the concerned section did not dispatch it.

4. The Commission directs the Registrar who is directly controlling the HRD department to show cause why maximum penalty should not be imposed against him for not appointing PIO for last two years, and also for not dispatching the information, within 21 days. The Commission requires the public authority under section 19(8)(a)(ii) of RTI Act, to appoint a PIO to HRD wing within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order.
