Section 1 in Karnataka Lake Conservation and Development Authority Act, 2014
1. Short title, commencement and application.
(1)This Act may be called the Karnataka Lake Conservation and Development Authority Act, 2014.(2)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification appoint.(3)It applies to all the lakes in the Karnataka State located within the limits of all Municipal Corporations and Bangalore Development Authority or any other water bodies or lakes notified by the Government from time to time.
