Section 2(a) in Jaunsar-Bawar Security of Tenure and Land Records Act, 1952
(a)"Collector" means the Collector of Dehra Dun District and includes an Assistant Collector of 1st Class empowered by the State Government by notification in the Official Gazette, to discharge the functions of the Collector under this Act;
