Section 11(6) in Assam Agricultural Engineering Service Rules, 1983
(6)An officer shall be eligible for promotion as Foreman if he has rendered service, undergone training and passed the departmental examination as mentioned hereinabove under sub-rules (4)(b) and (4)(c).
