Section 110 in Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1963

110. Special provisions for applications of the Act.

(1)If any difficulty arises in the application of the provisions of this Act to any area on account of local variations or difference in nomenclature between the tenures prevailing in that area (by whatever name such tenures may be known) and the corresponding tenures prevailing in the remaining part, of the State, the Government may, subject to the provisions of Sub-section (2), by notification in the Gazette, direct that the said provisions shall apply to the aforesaid area subject to such adaptations, exceptions and modifications as may be specified in this behalf in such notification.
(2)A draft of the notification proposed to be issued under Subsection (1) shall be laid before the Legislative Assembly for a period of ten days, and the Legislative Assembly may approve the draft with or without modification or disapprove the draft during the period in which it is so laid. On approval of the draft by the Legislative Assembly, the Government shall publish the notification as approved, in the Gazette. If the Legislative Assembly does not-
(i)approve with or without modification; or
(ii)disapprove;
the said draft during the period aforesaid, it shall be lawful for the Government to publish the notification in the Gazette in terms of the draft.
