Petitioner has made a representation on 17.6.2016, Annexure-6 before the Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, Patna for correction of cross list of the result of Matriculation Examination of the year 1996 published by the Respondent- Board alleging that the name of the petitioner, his father's name, Roll Number, Roll Code, Date of birth etc. are not correctly shown though in the Admit Card, Registration Slip, Mark Sheet and original Matriculation Pass Certificate they are correctly shown. Petitioner is working as Para Teacher in Upgraded Middle School, Rokedega, Palkot, Gumla since 2010. However during verification of his educational certificates by the District Education Officer, Gumla, the aforesaid discrepancy was noticed in the cross list. Petitioner is apprehensive of losing the job if such correction is not promptly made in the connected document i.e. cross list by the Respondent- Board so that it tallies with the correct credentials of the present petitioner showing Matriculation result. Therefore, he has approached this Court since his representation has not yet been acted upon.
3. Learned counsel for the Respondent no.4, Mr. S.P.Roy submits that matter has been taken up for the first time and instructions have not been received as yet. However, if so directed, the Respondent -2- no.4, Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, Patna would look into the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with law and as per the prescribed rules and standing orders of Respondent Board within a time frame after due scrutiny of the original records maintained in the office of the Respondent.

Having regard to the aforesaid submission made and the relevant material facts noticed hereinabove, at this stage, without making any comment upon the merits of the case of the petitioner, the writ petition is being disposed of so that Respondent no.4, Secretary, Bihar School Examination Board, Patna may consider the grievance of the petitioner on his representation duly supported with necessary facts and documents in accordance with law within a reasonable time, preferably 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
