Section 8 in The United Provinces Private Forests Act, 1948
8. Height of which trees and age of bamboo culms that may be cut.
- No person with a felling permit shall in a notified area of forest cut down any trees at a height of more than six inches from the ground or any bamboo culm less than one year old.
