Section 57(i) in Code of Regulations for Anglo-Indian Schools-Tamil Nadu State
(i)The Headmaster of the school into which a pupil seeks admission shall not apply for a certificate to the Headmaster of the school which such pupil is leaving but shall leave it to the parent or guardian of the pupil to apply for such certificate.
