Section 2(i) in The Karnataka Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes And Other Backward Classes (Reservation Of Seats In Educational Institutions And Of Appointment Or Posts In The Services Under The State) Act 1994.
(i)"Backward Classes of Citizens" means the class or classes of citizens who are socially and educationally backward as may be notified by the Government in the Karnataka Gazette from time to time:
