Section 17 in The National Environment Appellate Authority Act, 1997
17. Members and staff of Authority to be public servants.—
The Chairperson, the Vice-Chairperson and the Members and the officers and other employees of the Authority shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
