Section 9 in Presidential And Vice-Presidential Elections Rules, 1952
9. Fixing place and time of polling for Presidential election.- At every Presidential election where a poll is to be taken, the Election Commission shall
(a)fix a place of polling in the Parliament House in New Delhi, and also in the premises in each state in which the Legislative Assembly, if any, of the State meets for the transaction of business;(b)specify with reference to each such place or polling the group of electors who will be entitled to vote, and the hours during which the poll will be taken, at such place; and(c)give due publicity to the places so fixed and the groups of electors and the hours so specified.
