Section 35(1) in The Orissa Municipal Delimitation of Wards, Reservation of Seats and Conduct of Election Rules, 1994
(1)If a poll has to be taken the Election Officer shall appoint forthwith [Presiding Officer and] [Inserted vide O.G.E. No. 1106 dated 7.6.2008.] one or more Polling Officers for each polling station.
