Section 3(3) in The Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966
(3)The territories referred to in clauses (c), (d) and (e) of sub-section (1) shall form a separate district to be known as Ambala district in the State of Haryana and in that district,(i)the territories referred to in clauses (d) and (e) of sub-section (1) shall be included in, and form part of, the Naraingarh tahsil, and(ii)the territories referred to in clause (e) of sub-section (1) shall be included in and form part of, Pinjore kanungo circle in the Naraingarh tahsil.
