Section 12(1)(a) in Kamdhenu University Act, 2009

(a)The Vice-Chancellor shall be a whole-time officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Chancellor in consultation with the State Government from amongst three persons recommended under sub-section (3) by a Committee appointed for the purpose under sub-section (2).
