(1)This Act may be called [the Telangana Borstal Schools Act, 1925.] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.45, Law (F) Department, dated 01.06.2016.](2)The [State Government] [The words 'State Government' throughout the Act were substituted by the Adaptation of Laws Orders, 1937 and 1950.] may, by notification from time to time, apply the whole or any of the provisions of this Act to adolescent offenders or any class thereof in any local area in the [State of Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.45, Law (F) Department, dated 01.06.2016.], from such date as may be specified in the notification and may cancel or modify by such notification.
