6. Vacancies.
(1)If a vacancy occurs in the office of a member of the Board through death, resignation, removal or disability of such member or otherwise, the vacancy shall be filled in the same manner as is provided in section 3.(2)Any person elected or appointed to fill the vacancy shall, notwithstanding anything in section 5, hold office only so long as the member in whose place he is elected or appointed would have held office if the vacancy had not occurred.
