Section 17(1) in The U.P. Recognised Basic Schools (Junior High Schools) (Recruitment And Conditions Of Service Of Ministerial Staff And Group 'D' Employees) Rules, 1984
(1)The appointment of every clerk or Group 'D' employee, as the case may be, of a recognised school, not being an appointment under Rule 25 shall, in the first instance, be on probation of one year, which may be extended for further period not exceeding one year.
