Section 35(1)(a) in Regulations of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University

(a)The University shall establish and maintain scholarship funds, utilising either the grants made available by the State or Central Government and other agencies, and from its own contribution with the prior approval of the Board. From the scholarship funds, grants may be made to enrolled students in the form of: (a) full scholarship, (b) half-scholarship, (c) free-studentship, and (d) half free studentship.
