Section 138(a) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(a)the minimum lateral clearance of half a metre is maintained between any part of vehicle and any fixture or equipment used in an excavation or tunneling work after allowing the throw or swing of such fixture or equipment; and
