Section 60(1) in The Tamil Nadu Town Panchayats, Third Grade Municipalities, Municipalities and Corporations (Elections) Rules, 2006
(1)At each polling station, there shall be set up one or more voting compartments, as the State Election Commission may direct, from time to time, in which electors can record their votes screened from observation.
