Section 4(1)(a) in Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Services Commission Rules, 2017

(a)The State Government may appoint/ nominate two serving or retired officer of the rank of Inspector General of Police/ Deputy Inspector General of Police/ Superintendent of Police to the posts of the Members of the Commission.
