Section 2(b) in The Indian Bar Councils (U.P. Amendment) Act, 1950
(b)"Allahabad Council" and "Avadh Council" shall mean the Bar Councils established before the appointed day for the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad and the Chief Court of Avadh, respectively referred to as the existing High Court in the aforesaid Order;
