Section 17(2) in The Punjab Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories Act, 1953
(2)No offence punishable under this Act shall be tried by any Court inferior to that of a [Judicial Magistrate] [Substituted by Punjab Act 25 of 1964, section 2, Schedule, Part III.] of the first class.
