Section 11(i) in The United Provinces Fire Service Act, 1944
(i)Upon the coming into force of this Act, the [State Government] [Substituted by the A.O. 1950 for (Provincial Govt.).] shall cause a valuation to be made of all the fire-fighting property in the possession of any local authority within the towns to which this Act applies for the time being and may take over such property at that valuation.
