16. Employment concession for Outstanding Scouts.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or in the special rules for various State and Subordinate Services, other things being equal, preference shall be given to the Outstanding Scouts for appointment to any post by direct recruitment.Explanation. - For the purpose of this section, "Outstanding Scout" means a Scout who has received the award of the President of India.
